Judge not, lest you be judged - a topic that has been making the rounds at my church in some depth lately. Several things that were said on the topic kinda got under my skin this past week, so I decided to write down my thoughts and counter arguments here.

If it’s in there, it’s true, and that’s that. Contained within the Bible are any number of “promises” - protection, provision, healing, comforting, etc. Some of these we see- for example, I have never been unable to pay a bill, although I am often left wondering how we managed to spend an extra $800 in a given month and still break even. …

In addition to my regular full time job, in my free time I develop software. Below you will find a listing of the various programs I have written and made available. All titles are availaible from the Mac App Store. My development work is primarily Apple Macintosh based, although I do use the Qt toolkit, which is inherently cross-platform compatilbe. As such, while it is not supported, my software can be made available on the Windows platform as well.

Caught this little guy hopping around the other day. I think I've caught glimpses of him before, but this is the first time I've managed to get a shot off. Enjoy!

Driving home from Anchorage yesterday, Denali was out in all its glory. I had to plough through knee-deep snow to get these shots, but it was worth it.

I was out late last night watching a live performace of The Music Man, staring my twin sisters-in-law as a couple of the townsfolks. When we got out, we were greated with this. Not the greatest shots, I'm affraid. Maybe next time. Oh, and there was a moose too, although no pictures of that one. I love Alaska!

Ah, winter in Alaska. The snow gently covering the ground in a blanket of white, the frost in the air coating the trees in a glittering display of crystals, the ice on the …. windows???? This is what happens when you heat your house with wood heat and keep the curtains closed most of the time. Ooops.
